Service Description
Our Children's Sensory Camps are designed to allow youth five to eleven years old learn to engage with each other in a sensory awareness environment. Children will be allowed to participate in sensory bin experiences, sensory and science stations focusing on sight, sound, touch, and smell, scavenger hunts, musical and social activities, science stations, candle making and essential oils, play dough bins, slime, group discussions, connectedness with others through team building exercises, board games, and interactive drawing games. Children learn how to relate to their outside world in a mindful manner. This class is fluid in that the games and sensory activities offered change from day to day to keep your child interested and excited. Each class is self-contained and is designed to allow for free play and expression through games, sensory activities, and crafting. Some days of this two-week camp may be held outside at a local park. We will be setting up public transportation, and details will be provided upon sign-up. Our Summer Camps are offered at a weekly rate for five days and include a morning session from 9 AM to 12 PM, lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM and an afternoon session from 1 PM to 3 PM on Monday-Friday. Lunches will not be provided. Children must bring a sack lunch, limited refrigeration so cooling packs are encouraged. Healing Hearts Haven will not reheat lunches. Morning and afternoon snacks are also encouraged.
