Service Description
Our Mindfulness camp is all about equalizing the emotional, physical, and mental body in children. We focus on regulating the internal nervous system and develop right and left brained approaches through yoga stories, reading, and play to engage the right creative mind and help children innovate new ideas and solutions in coping with their external problems. Meditation and Yoga Workshop Sunday Morning 9 AM to 12 PM: Children, ages 5 to 11, are cognitively expanding every day and require exercise to stimulate their physical development. Children explore new ways to move their bodies, breathe through difficult challenges, and relax to optimize their learning potential through the development of essential physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and academic skills. Each class will offer one challenging pose with modifications to give little yogis a goal to attain through their strength practice; however, each class is self-contained in that it does not advance from week to week, and merely encourages the child to explore more at home. Bows and Beanies Workshop Sunday Afternoon 1 PM to 4 PM: This craft workshop is a themed fashion-based class for young girls and boys.
