Who We Are
Here at Healing Hearts Haven, we aim to make a difference for our youth by giving them a productive and creative outlet to promote connectedness in our communities. Since our founding in 2021, we have been determined to make an impact on youth, helping them cope with everyday stress and anxiety caused by things such as generational trauma, bullying, and a racing society fueled by immediate gratification and social media validation. Through all of our endeavors we hope to instill family core values that focus on mindfulness and evidence-based practices to stop unhealthy cycles from starting. We strive to reach the family as a whole which is why we offer courses ranging from Pre-K children up to adults. We encourage families to heal together targeting the systemic beliefs that lead to destructive repetitive behaviors and to foster an environment of peace and awareness that starts from within.
Ways We Help
Education is at the core of each class component here at Healing Hearts Haven. The Yoga principles are taught with the idea of integrating mindfulness, body awareness, and relaxation techniques that children can take into the classroom; each course is evidence-based and focused on measurable improvements at the community level; and the art classes are offered with a cognitive behavioral angle to teach children how to self-regulate and utilize their own awareness to direct their lives in a positive way.
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Our founding member has experience as a juvenile defense attorney and advocating for our youth as an at-risk population is at the heart of what we do. Advocacy is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
At Healing Hearts Haven, we are dedicated to finding resources for our youth within their own communities. We offer indigent support through our non-profit foundation to support underserved youth. Support is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more, lend your support, and help us generate ideas to offer a system for our youth to succeed.
Healing Hearts Foundation
Hopeful Hearts, Helpful Hands
Healing Hearts Foundation is a non-profit created for the benefit of children who cannot pay to participate in our services. Our mission is to foster opportunities for indigent children to participate in creative activities for the health of their bodies, minds, and souls. All youth art sold through Healing Hearts Haven has been created and donated by the students and founder Ashley Anson to generate funding for indigent applicants to partake in up to one week of camps for free. A portion of income generated through student and teacher art sales through Healing Hearts Haven is donated to the foundation for that sole purpose. Browse art for purchase below and sponsor a student today or visit the Foundation page for more information.
